In 2018, our family celebrated the Lunar New Year in Orlando.
Of course, I had to make one more travel bear.
A tiny bear inspired by Mickey Mouse.
This was only the second needle-felted bear I had ever made.
What I love most about needle felting is how much detail it allows.
Tiny fingers.
Tiny ears.
Tiny expressions.
As long as you have enough patience, almost anything is possible.

The bear was small enough to fit inside my glasses case, making it the easiest travel companion I had ever made.
Its movable head, arms, and legs made posing effortless.
I could simply take it out, place it anywhere, and it was instantly ready for another photograph.
Unlike my fabric bears……this one never lost an arm or a leg along the way.
(My longtime followers will know exactly what I mean.)

The rest of the story is best told through photographs.
