Hi, I’m Huahua.
I am a handmade artist and doll designer based in China.
Through drawing, screen printing, and sewing, I create handcrafted figures
inspired by folk culture, seasonal traditions, and the things that capture my
imagination.
Creating has always been my way of spending time with ideas.
I enjoying observing, thinking, and watching an idea slowly take shape. There is
something endlessly fascinating about turning a sketch, a feeling, or a passing
thought into something that can be held in the hands.
The Zodiac Collection has been one of my longest and most meaningful projects.
It began as a simple wish to create special New Year gifts for friends and family.
Over time, some began to say:
"Receiving a Jidanwawa zodiac figure is when the new year truly begins."
Those words stayed with me.
What began as a personal project gradually became part of a shared tradition.
I hope these works bring warmth, imagination, and a small sense of celebration into
the places they arrive.
